Grandia II

Ryudo, a young Geohound mercenary, works odd jobs with his companion bird Skye. Hungry for some gold, they agree to accept a request from the village of Carbo. When they arrive at their destination, they hear a beautiful voice coming from the Church of Granas. Eager to find out who’s singing, Ryudo heads to the nearby church and finds Songstrees, Elena, practicing vigorously for an upcoming ceremony. From this moment on, the three embark on a journey to prevent the return of Valmar, the god of darkness.

Hot Shots Golf Fore!

Developed by Clap Hanz, The Minna no Golf (Everybody’s Golf) series aka Hot Shots Golf has always been popular around the world, known for its comical characters and fun arcade/sim type gameplay. The latest installment, Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational, has been available since last year, which is a very great game by the way, but we thought we should look back at the one in the series that has made the biggest impact for us.

Space Channel 5

The Morolians have invaded Earth with their mesmerizing dance moves! It’s up to funky space reporter Ulala and her crew to save the day with their groovy dance moves! Yeah, baby, yeah!

Space Channel 5 is a rhythm and dance game developed by United Game Artists and produced by Tetsuya Mizuguchi. Ulala will go through four levels (reports) of nonstop groovy action. Your mission is to outdance the Morolians by following their moves and spoken commands. This is done by using the directional pad to match the aliens moves with the rhythm. There’s also a “chu” button (A/B) that lets you save humans/capture Morolians.

Cannon Spike

Cannon Spike is an original shooter from Psikyo created for the arcades. This version for the Dreamcast was published by Capcom. The game features characters from a multitude of Capcom franchises. Familiar faces such as Charlie/Cammy (Street Fighter), Megaman, B.B Hood (Darkstalkers), King Arthur (Ghouls n’ Goblins) join the team. That’s not all though, two new characters were created just for this game, Shiba Shintaro and Simone.

Wild Arms 4

Media Vision’s Wild Arms series returns in Wild Arms 4 for the PlayStation 2. This time the familiar western setting has been infused with a more modern feel. Also of note is the new HEX battle system among other additions. Will gamers enjoy this new take on the world of Filgaia? Let’s find out!
